Durability of drumsticks
Quite substantial. Drumsticks with a higher moisture content show greater endurance, especially against abrasion and puncture. These findings are based on our many years of experience, based on laboratory tests performed at Mendel University in Brno. For this reason, we do not dry the sticks during production.

Durability of drumsticks
The problem may be in using the wrong model for the style of your game, the wrong playing technique, or the wrong position of the drum kit when it hits the metal parts of the drum. See the Drumsticks Resistance section for more information.

Durability of drumsticks
It is the property of the stick to dampen subsequent vibrations after an impact. In it, part of the energy is transferred in the form of waves from the tip towards the handle. You can feel it quite clearly when you hold the stick firmly and your fingers get stuck after such a blow. Hickory or hornbeam can dampen these vibrations very well, other materials absorb them worse.

Durability of drumsticks
The principle of the style of this play is no longer possible. The sticks come into contact with the rim of the drum - hence the hard, inflexible material and are destroyed. The model, company, material or any modification does not affect this process. In this case, changing the rim to a wooden one or adjusting the style of play will help.
My sticks are destroyed from the edges of the cymbals, can this be prevented?

Durability of drumsticks
Change the style of play, the position of the cymbals or the grip so that the stick does not hit the edges. Play so that the stick slides on the grip or cymbal and thus dissipates the energy of the blow. This is the only option, changing the model, material or manufacturer will not help.

Do not play close to the navel of the cymbal, or in hard places that cannot give a punch. Play so that the stick slips on the cymbal. Changing the type of tip will help a bit - use larger, oval, or acorns with milder transitions. Or use artificial tips.
